Bonjour et bienvenue sur ma site web! 

My name is Emily Whitehurst (formally Speed), and I am a French and Spanish teacher at MHS9 and MHS Main. Learning languages has opened up so many doors for me both personally and professionally. I have a great passion for sharing what I've learned with others. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing a student enjoy the content I'm delivering.  Ideally, my students will gain a greater appreciation for various languages and cultures and will also become global citizens. 

 

In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband Philip, practicing Zumba, and watching foreign films.  I hope you have a fantastic year!
